Laguna Beach

A couple of families from our ward decided to ditch the desert for the day and head out to the coast. Saturday was the lowest tide of the year so we hit the beach and did some tide pool exploring and played in the ocean. Well, put our feet in the ocean anyway :) Cohen thoroughly enjoyed playing in the waves washing on shore and eating inordinate amounts of sand. He still has sandy diapers! He kept wrecking all the older kids sandcastles and other creations but he had a grand old time as did we. Our good friend Rachel, whose hubby is in med school at UC Irvine, was able to meet us down there and provided much needed girl talk. She is due in 2 1/2 weeks and we couldn't be more excited for her and Sean to be parents! Too bad nepotism prevailed and I only took pictures of Cohen and Paul.
