Giant Among Men

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced this morning that the new prophet and president of the Church will be President Thomas S. Monson. His counselors are President Henry B. Eyring, first counselor, and President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, second counselor.
I have been lucky enough to live in Utah and see all of the announcements and reactions to new leadership first hand. It is amazing to me the power of the spirit and the opportunity the church has had to share some of our doctrine and beliefs with the world. What a blessing it is to have that opportunity to let everyone worldwide know that God is a loving Heavenly Father who we can go to in prayer and receive modern-day revelation; that we have present day Prophets to guide us daily and to give all people hope and faith. I have always loved President Monson and eagerly look forward to his prophetic leadership in the church!
